What are Fofi's dimensions and weight? Can I have it in my activity?
Fofi is 14' 6" feet long and 5' 6" wide. Its height is 6' 6" and it weighs about 3,400 pounds when it is at its maximum capacity, which is six large kegs. It is important to mention that it is a fully functional motor vehicle and that it moves by its own engine. Therefore , it makes noise when the engine is started. This noise becomes even greater when it comes to closed spaces. Once the vehicle is situated, it will stay there, turned off, until is time to leave. It is very important to take these elements into consideration when planning your event.
Is electricity needed to operate Fofi?
No. Fofi operates totally independent of electricity.
What is the process for reserving Fofi?
Once interest has been established through the Reservation, we will contact you by email or phone call to set the date for our free consultation meeting. Through this meeting we seek to understand what the event is about and what peculiarities it has. From there we go to (1) Choose the drinks menu (2) Establish what type of service you need and (3) Establish what extras you need. We at La Kombi will send you a detailed quote with the cost of the service. It is important to establish that once the quote is accepted, the commitment will be formalized through a contract.
What is the lead-time?
It all depends on the complexity of your event and what permits are required. In some cases we can respond in a matter of days, but other events such as weddings or corporate activities require a little more planning. Our recommendation is that we contact so we can clarify any questions.
What are the extra services?
Extra services include bartender service, cocktail bar, lounge area and/or personalized services in glasses, napkins and others.
How clean is the operation?
Fofi's keg cooling system is sanitized by existing documented procedures. Our system goes through a Cleaning In Place (CIP) sanitization process after each event. In addition, all parts of the system are checked just prior to your event to determine if any require replacement and/or additional cleaning or sanitization.
